What should I/we wear?
It is best to keep clothing simple, avoiding logos or busy patterns. I always suggest layers/textures. In group photos, color coordinating is always more pleasing to the eye. Wear clothes that represent you and who you are.
What to bring?
For family and/or children photo sessions: outfit changes, a drink, snack, favorite toy, special stuffed animal, etc. Please make sure your little one has been fed and has had a nap (if possible) before the photo session for a more comfortable and positive experience.
What if we are late to the session?
If you are late to the session you forfeit the time lost. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, your session needs to be rescheduled.
When will I receive my photos?
Approximately 2-3 weeks after your session (weddings usually 8-12 weeks depending on the time of year). Session photos are delivered digitally and wedding deliveries depend on selected package. I will usually post a sneak peek photo of the session on my website and/or Facebook page within a few days of your session.
Are there any additional charges for me to receive my photos?
I charge a one-time flat rate for your pictures which are taken at the location of YOUR choice. No added sitting fees, special effect fees or huge prices for portraits. The price quoted does include the photo shoot and your digital photo link with all of your images with permission for you to share and print the photos from anywhere and keep forever. If you would like to do a rush order of your session it would be $150 and the photos would be returned in 72 business hours.
Where will the photos be taken? Do you have a studio?
The location of the photo session depends on whether you'd like indoor or outdoor photos. Our studio is located at 2169 Defense Highway Crofton, MD. We are able to shoot in studio or at a location nearby. Once your photo shoot date is booked we will discuss what type of feel you are looking for in your photographs, we can then work together to come up with the perfect location. Newborn photo sessions are held in studio. We are not capturing in home sessions.
Do you only offer the photos digitally or do you offer prints?
The price listed includes the price of all of the photos sent via digital link, if you are interested in having prints made you are able to do so through the booking site or at a local/online printing place. However, the quality of the photos are only guaranteed when printed through the online gallery site.
I remember you taking a specific image at our session; Why don’t I see it in the gallery?
You will only see the best images from our session. This means, that if the image was blurry from movement or if someone is blinking that image will not be available online for proofing.
How many photos do I receive?
The amount of photos you receive depend on the photo package you selected. I DO NOT give all photos from any session under any circumstances. The photos are photographer selected.
Why do I have to sign a photography contract?
Model release contracts protect the client and photographer when entering a professional relationship. We do require photo contracts for all sessions. You may find our contract here.
